this little bookie when to the market

I took about a dozen of my leather journals and notebooks to the local market this morning. A friend of mine, who makes jewelry has a little booth set up downtown and has offered me space there. She'll be there until October, so it will be a continuous thing. I'm really grateful for this chance to give my books a more local exposure, as the majority of my customers are from the USA and abroad.

Here's my little setup...

  4. So beautiful Bev! I so love your blog. Markets are a great way to 'expand your customer base'.....ugh hehehe. You can't take the business course out of the girl. :) It seems your business is growing and growing which is fantastic. I'm about to design a line of silk scarves! Very exciting but also terrifying. I've had so many people ask if I print fabric designs of my stuff...so I'm giving it a go for Spring this year. Keep up the beautiful binding! Cheers.

  5. I love your journals. The textures of the covers on the wicker box look so "touchable" !
